Our veterinarians are dedicated and highly skilled professionals. Together, they possess more than fifty years experience in emergency and critical care. They are extremely capable and proficient in diagnostics, pain management, emergency treatments and surgery. At least one of these professionals is always available and prepared to provide your pet with needed urgent care. From a snake bite, a car accident, a gastric torsion surgery, a c-section and everything else in between, they are ready.
But our doctors are only a part of our critical care team; they are assisted by an incredible staff. We are extremely proud of our nurses, veterinary assistants, certified veterinary assistants, technicians and Registered Veterinary Technicians. Together, our staff possess more than 200 years experience in veterinary medicine. Matthew Mayton-Area Hospital Administrator
Matt began his career in veterinary medicine in December of 2005, starting off as a veterinary technician in the Humble TX area. Matt has worked at numerous large and small animal practices in the greater Houston area, and has a special interest in Emergency Medicine. Matt began working at a local Emergency Clinic in 2010 and was promoted to Area Hospital Administrator in October of 2013. He takes great pride in managing both Animal Emergency Clinic of Conroe and Animal Emergency Clinic Northeast (Humble). Matt has been married since November 2009 to his amazing wife Kat, and together they have a daughter and son. The Mayton household also include 4 dogs, an Irish Wolfhound named Bailey, a Lab named Maggie, an Australian Shepherd named Porter and a Cocker Spaniel named Sasha.
Claire-Emergency Room Supervisor
Clair has welcomed clients and cared for their pets at the Animal Emergency Clinic since 1978. She loves toy poodles, especially white ones. Clair enjoys working in her yard and watching reality TV and action movies.
Clair also enjoys watching SOAPS while walking on her treadmill.
